08/03 Freitag!

Friday at the office became figure it out day. Since it was apparent that we didn't have a contact for orientation or anyone to make our lives any eaiser I started seeking out the more sympathetic Germans at work. Sebastition helped me out finding places to get a phone, keys, another bike for parker, and the location to some clubs. Important stuff. Ronny was also nice about helping us set up DSL if we wanted. Overall we were all just trying to get things set up, that we figured would be already set up so that we could adjust and start working.

As you can see, there is fun time at work called the hardest driving simulator ever made in the world.

So Friday at work went well as far as getting the ducks in a row and figuring some stuff out. Everyone was happy it was the weekend as well. We went shopping and started to use the kitchen.

Parker was excited.

We drank some bier at dinner, which is just what everyone does at all times of the day. Some guy at work was just clicking away at a computer on Friday drinking a bier, kein problem with these guys. So we found a cool bar and some frolion took our picture.

On the way to the bar we found the RTT smart car! Apparently these things are everywhere, the color that is.

Back at the crib, we had more fun with this awesome camera I picked up.

übrigens, the apartment is awesome!! Now would be a good time to go over a little bit of that.

It's on Buttermelcher strasse, down by a bunch of cool bars and cafes located a couple blocks from the city center and even closer to Gärtnerplatz. RTT definatly came through with this place. It's seriously awesome as you can tell from some of the pictures and the tour. It's nice European 3 room flat. Compared to what I've seen before and the neighborhood in Mücnchen and well everything, this place is nice. It's on the fourth floor, so the stairs are hell but once you get up here its nice being on top. Once on the bottom you can go straight to the cafe and sip a little macchiato or eat a panani! Good thing LA taught me those words, so I knew what they were so it wasn't a super culture shock!

We could be in the suburbs next to an S-bahn stop, but we are more than taken care of here in a beautiful apartment. Our rooms were dirty but here's a link to a video we made. Entshuldigung Bitte!
